The isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium data of the tetraethyl orthosilicate and ethanol binary mixture were collected using a modified Othmer still at pressures of 24.00 kPa and 53.32 kPa. The experimental data showed that this mixture could be separated by a distillation process at lower temperatures under pressures of 24.00 kPa and 53.32 kPa than under atmospheric pressure. The experimental data were examined with the Herington thermodynamic consistency test and the X2 distribution of statistics. They are fairly well correlated with the UNIQUAC model. Also, the optimum interaction parameters of the UNIQUAC model were determined by the maximum likelihood principle.
