Piezoelectric ceramics of modified PbCa0.01Sr0.01[(Mn1/3Nb2/3)x-(1-x)(ZryTi1-y)]O3(abbreviated as PMN-PZT)(0.02≦x≦0.06, 0.47≦y≦0.54) prepared by B-site oxides (BO) method. And their properties were compared with those using mixed-oxide (MO) method. This improved process on PMN-PZT based materials syatem exhibited a well piezoelectric properties and good temperature coefficient of capacitance (TCC). The prefferred results of Kp (0.69), d33 (350pc/N) ε33T/ε0(1250), Qm(1250),TCC<2000ppm/℃ were obtained x=0.03, y=0.51. The preferred composition of modified PMN-PZT material system was suitable for fabricating the ultrasonic therapeutic transducers.
