    Abstract: 黑色素屬於非結晶且不規則型態複雜的大分子聚合體,在人類中melanin 主要存在於頭髮、皮膚表皮和具有神經活性的區域,例如中耳、視網膜虹體、細胞免疫反應、中腦的黑質組織(substantia nigra)及神經細胞,另外在發炎組織或惡性黑腫瘤也被發現melanin的存在。當這些melanin 在細胞中不正常生長而產生細胞突變時即會病變成皮膚癌,melanin也可與具毒性之陽離子鍵結(如過渡金屬),並將其由經皮的排泄路徑去除,以防止毒害現象,但是當過渡金屬含量過多時,反而會造成腦部傷害,例如帕金森氏症的病例是由於中腦的黑質組織可以產生dopamine 的多巴胺神經組織退化而導致。本研究探討Al+3、Fe+2、Fe+3、Ni+2、Cu+2、Pb+2、As+3和Zn+2等金屬離子對黑色素生成反應的影響,實驗結果顯示Al+3、Fe+3、Ni+2、As+3 和Zn+2等金屬離子均會降低黑色素聚合生成,其中以Ni+2影響最為顯著。
